Etymology of the term “TALIBAN” (tango)

Etymology of the term “TALIBAN” (tango) – UPDATE
We know that in the milongas of Buenos Aires, after the golden period in which orchestras played live, half of the music was tango and half rock and tropical, at least up to the 70s, all Argentinans are well aware of this, as said by Alberto Podesta, last exponent of the traditional tango, passed away last year. For them the milonga was and is above all a social place.
At the beginning of the century was played even electronic tango, made in Argentina of course because the music of the rest of the world was not much known there (or they did not want to know, because out of the control of the tango system). This electronic tango was even danced, although the musical production was very poor of quality, almost to the levels of the guard vieja. The idea that in a traditional milonga, should only be played and danced only traditional tango is therefore quite new, for the Argentine reality!
This does not mean that Argentina should be a model, the talibanisation is good for the tango industry, because “talibans” quickly become part of a system, while tango dancers, on average, like all human beings they need to spend a evening through a colorful rainbow of feelings, and not a religious silent evening listening and performing songs belonging solely to the traditional tango.
The theory of the “Taliban” is that there is no other music that can be danced in milongas beyond the traditional tango! And this is NOT traditional!
In recent years the talibanisation of some environments involves also the dancing, whereas before it was all improvisation, with free tangueros to express and contaminate their own dance style, now the “Taliban” promotes standardization: a dance made up mostly of walk with small steps for narrow places, because they can accommodate more people, without ganchos, no off-axis, without bothering anyone, without causing danger, without any kind of movement that requires a physicality and a study to be carried out well and not in a clumsy manner!
Walking… oh those who dance just walking, small steps in small spaces, they are considered the best, more than those who dance with their own style in the actual amount of space available.
Neotango, which is neither a dance or a musical genre but a philosophy, cut in a transversal way all the nodes with the past, leaving only the wonderful ancient embrace dance, on music of our time, letting each one express, interprets and improvise freely and smiling in armony with the other couples the sound of our days. Without this it remains only the HABIT, because often in many cities there is nothing but “religion” always set by the industry, against those who want to dance to be himself and not a copy of a world that does not belong to them, bringing in their soul only the light, now destined to fade, of a music dead (musically speaking) last year.
